Once you are in-game you will open up a particular radial menu by pressing and holding 'V' - once this menu is open you will see an 'invite friends' option at the top of the radial menu. Once past that point, you will (if you are not already in an online session) proceed to save and go to main menu where you will select 'Continue ' and that will create an online session for you. It's just a short few missions to introdue you to the game and then it should inform you that you can now coop. We have only played co-op together once for about 2 hours, but it was a great relief to see that Ubisoft put so much effort into this. Before you can do coop you have to get through the prologue. If I died, he saw a pained expression on my guy's face and had the option to revive me.Īlso, if I was aiming at an enemy through my sights, he could see a blue eye icon appear over the head of the enemy I was aiming at(Note that this icon did not appear if I was just pointing my gun at an enemy, I had to look down the sights.) We could also see any enemies the other had tagged, whether by camera or by hunting syringe.

He could see me take aim through my scope. If we were in a vehicle together, he could see my characters head turn, and if I switched weapons, he could see my guy put away the one weapon to bring out another. If I was hacking a Bell Tower, he could see my character pop open the little box with my knife, pull out the wires, and flip the switch. We were just running around taking outposts and doing side missions, and it was amazing the level of detail and thought they put into co-op. I was expecting there to be huge lag issues, poor animations, etc. My buddy and I play co-op, and I gotta say, it was not only amazing, but totally blew my expectations out of the water.
